Snow, Mice, Leaks Oh My

So this weekend went by quickly but not without adventure. I woke up Saturday morning to an email in an inbox that my renters use. Apartment A hears dripping in the wall. Cailen and I have seen a mouse in our apartment and we have had about 100 feet of snow. Everything works out though. My parents just so happen to be coming down this weekend which was amazing because my dad showed me how to cut, fit, fix and solder a water pipe. When evaluating the wall, we had no idea where the leak was coming from. We just so happen to cut the wall open, (with the sawzall Aunt Giiny gave us) literally an inch below the leaking water pipe. After a quick trip to Home Depot, we were able to fix the pipe, turn the water back on, and no more leaks!! This was amazing because a $1,000+ plumber bill ended up being about $2 and 3 hours. it is amazing how much knoweldge can save you. Last night we put out mouse traps and cuaght one mouse so that is also a good thing. As for the snow, it is starting to melt. Cailen and I replaced the broken snow blower belt (after about 3 hours of working on it in 20 degree weather) and we are all geared up for taking each day at a time. I am so gratefull to my parents and everything they have taught me through this experesne.
